Art Deco Bolex
1999This was created for the cover of a program book of films at the Fall 1999 screenings of student works from Rochester Institute of Technology's School of Film, Video and Animation. The camera is a Bolex, a 16mm motion picture camera.
Created start-to-finish in Photoshop, it was intended to recall the graphic style of late 1920s-early 1930s European advertising posters, using simple geometric shapes, lines and curves, and graduated angular shading.
